AMAZING! I was referred to Dr Baltazar by my sister. He was my sister's dentist since he opened his practice in Mira Mesa 30+ years ago and has taken care of her family and my parents, friends and relatives for years. I needed a second opinion on a toothache i was experiencing under my bridge. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. He reviewed my x-rays and came up with an excellent plan for my issue. As a temporary solution, Dr Baltazar cut my Bridge enough to get to the tooth that needed extraction and to save some of my bridge for me to still be able to eat until my gum from extracted tooth heals. He also recommended another awesome Dentist, Dr Matin at West Coast Oral for my extraction. 2 consults, 1 bridge cut and 1 extraction all happened within a week's time. Both doctors administered local anesthesia and I felt no pain. Both were so skillful. Look forward to working with these 2 doctors soon. Excellent staff at both locations too!

I saw Dr. Baltazar for two of my wisdom teeth extraction. Today is 24 hours later, I feel great. He was so kind, and so compassionate. He took the time to talk to me before and after the procedure. I can tell he really does care for his patients. I have seen many dentist, in the military, and civilian. And he is by far, the best dentist that I have ever dealt with. His experience speaks for itself. His assistant, Andrea, was the best. She is so nice and made me feel super calm with her reassurance. She explained and showed me exactly what I had to do at home recover. His front desk team, Cecilia and Tish were also so professional and caring. They explained to me the cost breakdown. I had never had a dental office ever explained this to me. I am so so happy I found him and his team. I kept bragging to my husband how I had the best experience here with Dr. Baltazar and his team. First of all, the staff are very friendly and very efficient. It was raining on my appointment day and was glad the office called to check on me. I was at the wrong side of the street. Anyway, I needed a second opinion on my tooth problem and a friend of mine recommended Dr. Balthazar. He examined my problem and got a very thorough exam and made his recommendations. Unfortunately, I couldn’t retain him to fix my problem because they only accept PPOs, which I’m not. It would have been costly, out of pocket, for me! However, I can only say, I am happy to recommend him for anyone’s dental care!!! ??
Recently, a veneer in the front in the front of my mouth fell out a day before family company was due to arrive. I was panicked. I contacted Dr. Baltazar and he worked me in the following day. I'm very grateful for his willingness to help me on such short notice. He did a wonderful job as usual. He is the best!!

Dr. Baltazar is a great family dentist. My entire family has been at this office since my kids were toddlers. Now one is college and the other is a senior in high school. Dr. Baltazar has a great bed side manner to help my kids and hubby to be comfortable in a dentist office. He has helped me to get my tooth implant and veneer. He helped my older daughter straighten 2 crooked teeth with a retainer to prevent the need for braces. He has helped refer my other daughter to a great orthodontist and oral surgeon.
